Updated NSF Minimum & Maximum Wage Limits: Effective 1 July 2026
NSF Contribution Limits by Pay Period
The following table outlines the updated minimum and maximum basic wage limits for NSF contribution calculations, effective 1 July 2026. Note that private household employees have different minimum wage thresholds than other employees.

Important: Private Household vs. Other Employees
Private household employees have a lower minimum wage threshold (2,910 MUR monthly) compared to other employees (4,580 MUR monthly). About the National Savings Fund (NSF)
The National Savings Fund (NSF) is a mandatory savings scheme in Mauritius where both employees and employers contribute a percentage of the employee's basic wage. NSF contributions are calculated on basic salary only, subject to the minimum and maximum wage thresholds. These updated ceiling and floor limits affect the contribution base for all NSF calculations effective 1 July 2026.
